Fresh from vogue.com.au!
One of our favourite Australian designers Kym Ellery is set to showcase her collection in Paris at their 'off- schedule schedule' for newcomers. She was invited by the highly regarded Fédération Français de la Couture du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode- Oooh la la!
Paris is the place for designers to be seen, heard and watched. Paris is where designer dreams happen. For Ellery, this is an excellent opportunity and way in which her career will definitely be able to take off in to the international scene.
"Depending on their success (off calendar), they become part of the official calendar," says Didier Grumbach, president of the federation.
Ellery claims that "Paris has always been where I envisaged taking my brand and I am thrilled to debut the collection under the venerable Chambres Syndicale umbrella in Paris next week.
The Ellery show will take place Sunday 29th September so keep an eye out for coverage of it!
