Zara styling in Italy

Monday, 15 July 2013

Here in Florence I am lucky enough to be surrounded by more than one Zara store! In fact, two of these Zara stores are located only across the road from eachother. This, unfortunately for my bank account, means that I have been spending the majority of my time there purchasing new outfits.

This current season in Italy is all about colour, patterns and black leather shoes. In true style, I have purchased all of these items. Below are my favourites that I have purchased and put together for you to enjoy. Check all these items out online too- http://www.zara.com/it/en/.

A classic coloured skirt such as these green and pink ones, paired with a classic white tee is perfect for this type of weather. Add some black leather chunky wedges or strappy heels and you've got the perfect combination.

Colour blocking is in! However, it has changed slightly. This season its all about colour blocking combined all on one item. The dress below is an excellent example of this with its black, nude and red colours that just fit together so well! Paired with this Zebra print jacket, nude heels and a nude clutch, you have the perfect outfit for those chilly summer nights.

Ladies- Animal prints are in this European summer! Pair a leopard print skirt or bottoms with a plain top to add a great contrast in patterns. If you're even more daring- add a matching clutch or shoes for that extra pop!

Finally, nothing can go wrong when you pair an outfit with a black pair of heels or heeled wedged boots. All of these ones from Zara are extremely affordable and will undoubtably go with any outfit! Purchase a pair today- you will easily wear them over and over.

Until next time bloggers!
