Fashion can be bought. Style one must possess.

Over the weekend I visited Melbourne- the fashion capital of Australia. I love Melbourne, and I also love shopping, so this was definitely the perfect weekend for me. This beautiful city is filled with designer flagship stores and quirky independent boutiques that provide diversity and fun for any shopper! This weekend I mainly shopped around the city (Bourke Street mall), and also visited the famous Chapel Street.

PURCHASES

Cecile 'Cheetah Stripe Sleeveless Tee'- From Green with Envy boutique on Chapel Street.

I have been wanting one of these Cecile tees for a very long time, as I love the relaxed style with the high neck as well as the blocks of colour and print. These unique tees also come in a range of other designs and colours- check them out at http://www.greenwithenvy.com.au/designer/cecile/

Zara Quilted Leather pants- Zara, Bourke Street Mall.

Who doesn't love leather and the quilted look this season? As soon as I saw these they had to be mine!

C&M Camilla and Marc Cezanne Top- David Jones, Bourke Street Mall.

I've always wanted a piece of Camilla and Marc and couldn't resist this gorgeous singlet! Can't wait to show off its bright pops of colour and crossed back feature.

French Connection Cheeky Cheetah Sweat - David Jones, Bourke Street Mall.

I always love a French Connection knit and when I saw this cheetah print style with the leather elbow pads, I simply had to have it!

Topshop Flat Chain Bowling Bag and Studded Loafers- Topshop on Chapel Street.

A visit to Topshop is a must when in Melbourne and I definitely wasn't disappointed with their range of accessories and shoes. Can't wait to wear both of these pieces!

American Apparel Sleeveless Turtleneck Dress and High-Waist Jean Cuff Short- David Jones, Bourke Street Mall.

American Apparel can always be relied upon to produce affordable clothes that are both stylish and good quality. High-wasted shorts are always in season for summer, and I love the turtleneck style of the dress, as it fits perfectly to the body.

With the savings now substantially low, it is safe to say that I had a very successful shopping trip this weekend to Melbourne. Any of these items listed can be bought at each of the stores online- so if you like what you see- get shopping!

Have a good week!

xx
